Daniel J. Block received his law degree from the University of Oregon in 1991 after obtaining a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Idaho State University in 1986 and a Bachelor's degree in Management from Arizona State University in 1981. Dan’s practice emphasizes franchising, general business law (such as business entity formations, business purchases and sales, and contract drafting, negotiation, and review), trademark registration and intellectual property licensing, employment law, and commercial real estate transactions. Prior to joining RWO, he spent over seven years as in-house counsel to a restaurant franchisor, and he was a state securities examiner in Idaho. Dan has served on the Competitiveness Committee of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation and on the Economic Development Committee of the Downtown Denver Partnership; and he is a member of the American Bar Association Business Law Section and Forum on Franchising, and the Colorado Bar Association Labor & Employment Law Forum.
