Richard L. Nathan graduated from the University of Denver College of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1972. He served as Director of Colorado's Organized Crime Strike Force and First Assistant Attorney General for Criminal Justice from 1975 to 1982. Rich also served as President and General Manager of the Denver Gold football team in the United States Football League during 1984-1985. His practice today concentrates largely in regulatory law, including a specialization in all aspects of gaming law. He has appeared in trial courts and before regulatory bodies in many states in addition to Colorado and has taught Gaming Law at the University of Denver College of Law.
